Just completed the first sizeable rendering job of this year. Good to get back outside although still a bit wet and chilly. Ready for decoration in a couple of weeks. Drying back well.

A bedroom completed this week. Overboarded the Artex ceiling and beaded the bay window. Then replastered all.

Just finished this one yesterday. Whole side render removed , 2 coats of render, expansion beads , gable end hacked off and 2 coats of render . Coping stones lifted and re layed. It took 90 plus mixer fulls and several weeks of work.

Another Render job finished off on Friday. Popped back to attach some pipe clips and take a few photos. Enjoyed this one. Very hot weather at the start and cooled down a lot by the end allowing me to finish off without too much sweat.

Finished this one yesterday. Hard job in the heat but got there. Hardest part was removing the thick render with rusty reinforcement mesh which covered the entire side. Did well not to get Tetanus while doing that part. The side doesn’t look big but was well over 100m squared. The first coat took 25 cement mixers full. As did the second coat. I put in expansion beads and divided it up into manageable pieces. Then finished with a medium Tyrolean coat for optimum weather resistance. Onto the next…

Almost finished this back of the house rendering job. Was a slow start but the weather eventually turned out nice and the job progressed at a decent pace. Enjoyed the job and soon moving on to the next. Few before pics at the end. Thanks
