Happy Labor Day from Stillwagon Services! 🇺🇸

Today is about the people who get up every day and put in the work. The ones building things, fixing things, taking care of their families, helping their neighbors, and doing what needs done even when nobody is watching.

Since starting Stillwagon Services, we’ve had the chance to meet and work for some truly great people. Every phone call, every job, every recommendation and every person who has trusted us with their home or property has helped keep this little business moving forward.

We know you have plenty of choices when you need something done, and the fact that so many of you have chosen us means more than you probably realize.

So today, we just wanted to say thank you. Thank you for supporting a small local business, for telling your friends about us, and for giving us the opportunity to earn your trust.

We hope everybody gets a chance to put the tools down, enjoy the day, and spend some time with the people who matter most.

What a great day for a haul away! Cleaned out a garage for a customer who is putting their house on the market and made a few other pickups along the way. Happy Friday!

Busy day tackling a water-damaged subfloor for a customer! 🔨

We stabilized the existing floor joists and added additional support to give the floor a strong, long-lasting foundation. From there, we installed new subflooring and took care of some plumbing issues we uncovered along the way—replacing a broken pipe with Schedule 40 PVC and replacing the old Fernco couplings with properly glued PVC connections.

We also installed 3/4” foam board insulation along the block wall and sealed everything up to help keep out drafts and insects.

A lot accomplished in one long day, and this floor is solid again! 💪

What a glow up!

We knocked out a full exterior refresh for one of our returning customers:

💦 Pressure washed the siding
🎨 Painted & re-caulked the Bilco basement doors
💡 Replaced the flood light
🪚 Built a brand-new cover for the well
🌳 Removed a massive lilac bush

It’s amazing what a little cleanup, maintenance, and attention to detail can do for a property!

Another project wrapped up and another returning customer taken care of. We truly appreciate everyone who continues to trust Stillwagon Services with their property.

🌿 Another outdoor space refreshed! 🌿

Our customer wanted to spruce up her front outdoor living area, so we came through!

We planted four Emerald Green arborvitae, several varieties of hostas, and porcupine grass, then finished the beds with fresh double-dark mulch. We even uncovered some beautiful flagstone while digging and were able to repurpose it throughout the landscaping for some extra character!

To complete the space, we also assembled the customer’s new patio furniture and outdoor fireplace, bringing everything together into a comfortable, inviting area she can enjoy.

What a great turnout! We love seeing a space come together like this. 🏡🌱

Who says you can't teach on old deck new tricks?

Power washed, sanded and stained with a really nice Cabot redwood finish. It's a semi transparent stain and sealer so once it fully cures you will really be able to see the wood grain as well as protect the surface for years to come.
