What’s the Scariest Thing Hiding in Your Home? 🏠🕸️

No, we’re not talking about ghosts in the attic or monsters under the bed! 👻

We’re talking about those home maintenance surprises that seem to appear out of nowhere. ⚒️

A door that suddenly won’t close properly.

A cabinet that’s hanging on by a thread.

A mysterious drip that just won’t quit.

That never-ending list of projects you’ve been meaning to tackle.

The good news? You don’t need a magic wand to make those problems disappear! ☠️

A little routine maintenance and a helping hand from Mike’s Handymen can keep your home looking great and functioning the way it should.

Leave the spooky surprises to Halloween, not your home! 🎃

FUN DAY FRIDAY: THE HOMEOWNER TO-DO LIST! 🏡

Every homeowner has three lists:

📝 The To-Do List: Things you’re definitely going to fix this weekend.

🔨 The Eventually List: Things you’ve been meaning to get around to for approximately three years.

🙈 The Don’t Look at It List: Things you’ve decided aren’t a problem as long as you don’t make eye contact with them.

And somehow, the third list just keeps getting longer!

At Mike’s Handymen, we know homeownership comes with a never-ending list of little projects, repairs, and improvements.

Sometimes the hardest part is just getting started!

Be honest…which list has the most things on it at your house?

SOMETIMES YOUR HOME DOESN’T NEED MORE SPACE. IT NEEDS SMARTER SPACE! 🔨

Ever open a cabinet and wonder how so much stuff ended up in such a small space?

Or have that one awkward corner that seems completely useless?

The right cabinetry can make a big difference in how your home looks, feels, and functions.

Whether you’re looking to improve storage, make better use of an awkward area, or give a room a more finished look, custom cabinets can help make your space work better for you.

Mike’s Handymen offers custom cabinetry services to help homeowners make the most of their space. 🗄️

Because a little more organization and a lot less clutter sounds pretty good to us!

THE PARTS OF YOUR ROOF YOU PROBABLY NEVER THINK ABOUT! 🏠

When was the last time you looked up at the edges of your roof?

Those boards and panels tucked underneath your roofline might not get much attention, but they have an important job!

Your soffit and fascia help protect your roofline from moisture, pests, and Michigan’s unpredictable weather.

Peeling paint, rotting wood, or loose panels could be signs that something needs attention.

Mike’s Handymen offers soffit and fascia repairs to help keep those often-overlooked areas of your home in good shape. 🔨

Because sometimes the most important home repairs are the ones you don’t notice until there’s a problem!

FUN DAY FRIDAY: THERE’S ALWAYS THAT ONE THING IN THE HOUSE…

The loose cabinet handle.

The crooked shelf.

The trim that needs fixing.

The little repair you’ve walked past approximately 427 times while thinking, “I really need to take care of that.”

Consider this your reminder to look around the house and find your one thing.

And if looking turns into a list… welcome to homeownership.

YOUR DOOR SHOULDN’T REQUIRE A SHOULDER CHECK TO CLOSE 💪🏻

Sticking, dragging, squeaking, loose hardware or a door that simply refuses to latch properly — little door problems can become an everyday annoyance.

Mike’s Handymen can help with door repairs and adjustments to get things opening, closing and working the way they should.

Because fighting with your bedroom door before you’ve had coffee shouldn’t be part of the morning routine.

THAT LITTLE HOLE IN THE WALL ISN’T GETTING ANY SMALLER

Door handle damage, old anchors, cracks, dents and those mysterious holes nobody in the house seems to know anything about.

Damaged drywall can make an otherwise great-looking room feel unfinished.

Mike’s Handymen can take care of those drywall repairs and help get your walls looking like walls again — instead of a scrapbook of everything that’s happened to them.

Small repair can make a big difference in how the room looks.

FUN DAY FRIDAY HOMEOWNER POST: THE HARDWARE STORE TRIP ALWAYS STARTS WITH “I JUST NEED ONE THING.”

Then somehow you’re standing in aisle 14 holding three different brackets, two kinds of screws and something you’re pretty sure will solve the problem.

There’s a special kind of confidence that comes with a weekend home project…Usually right before the second trip to the hardware store.

Here’s to all the Michigan homeowners giving it their best shot this weekend — and to knowing when it might be time to call Mike’s Handymen.
