On the boards: a trio of 800 square foot homes in a formerly single family zone, now possible thanks to Seattle’s zoning changes. This property, a corner lot in the Central District, has been in our Clients family since the 1930s, and he grew up@in the house that was once there (sadly lost in a fire). His goal is to bring actual affordable housing that fits the scale and character of the surrounding older homes. We came up with a single floor plan for efficiency, and rotated and adapted it to the 3 different site conditions. Renders by Bao Vo

The final final touches are nearly complete at our Queen Anne DADU project, a neatly 4-year labor of love and collaboration with homeowner . Filling in the last backyard on an upzoned Seattle alley, we wanted to build something that pushed the boundaries of what was possible in our need for housing density. We are excited to see this filled with furniture and life and post more soon.
