It’s sad to see box hedges disappearing before our eyes all over Dublin. If you don’t know, this is the work of Box moth caterpillar, a new arrival in Ireland. Treatment is safe and easy: spray with a ‘biological control’ such as Xentari when the caterpillars are munching (which is now) and again in mid or late summer. This is harmless to every creature and insect except these caterpillars. We think it’s worth doing. Available in our 3 shops and on our website.
