Project Spotlight: TVCC Nursing & Allied Health Professions Center 🌟

Designed to support the next generation of healthcare professionals, the new Evelyn S. Dame Nursing & Allied Health Professions Center is now open on Treasure Valley Community College’s Ontario campus.

Our team worked with TVCC to design this 30,733-square-foot facility, which brings together classrooms, labs, and specialized training spaces for the college’s health science programs, including nursing, surgical technology, medical assisting, EMT, and physical therapy. From a first-class simulation lab equipped with high-fidelity patient simulators and virtual reality nursing simulation platforms to a surgical technology lab modeled after real-world sterile processing departments and surgical operating rooms, the facility gives students hands-on experience in realistic learning environments.

We’re proud to see this project come to life and excited for the opportunities it will create for students and the communities they’ll serve.

We’re excited to introduce Jennifer, Hummel’s newest Interior Designer/Project Manager!

Jennifer brings more than 15 years of interior design experience, with a background ranging from hospitality to retail projects. She’s excited to continue expanding her experience in healthcare and educational design with Hummel. Jennifer describes her approach as detail- and results-oriented, working backward from the end goal to identify user needs that may not have been recognized yet. Outside of work, she enjoys snowboarding, hiking, camping, and spending time with her four-year-old rescue dog, Archer.

We’re glad to have Jennifer on the team!

Last week we celebrated the ribbon cutting of Jefferson School District’s new Broulim’s Fieldhouse! This new indoor sports facility will serve Rigby High School, giving students a reliable place to train for spring sports—rain or shine.

Designed with flexibility in mind, the fieldhouse can accommodate a variety of sports and activities, including track and field, tennis, volleyball, baseball, softball, and football.

We’re excited to see this new space open its doors and support students and the community for years to come!
