Take a behind-the-scenes look at the new Bethel Park School District Elementary School! Our team spent the day at the elementary school capturing photos that highlight the spaces designed for learning, growing, and creating. This building embodies a true student-first design: high security, flexible collaboration, creative environments, and hands-on learning. Stay tuned for the final photos – we can’t wait to share the results!

Over the weekend, the DRAW Team participated in this year’s Breakthrough T1D Walk, an event that supports raising funds and awareness for Type 1 Diabetes. Led by DRAW’s Randy Riggans, our team “DRAWing for Hope” raised over $4,600, an outstanding $3,000+ over our initial goal of $1,500! Thank you to everyone who donated, shared, and walked with us for your help in surpassing our goal. Your support helps fund research and resources for children, teens, and adults with Type 1 Diabetes, helping them build a brighter future.

The Allegheny Health Network Forbes Hospital 2nd floor main lobby project is nominated for this year’s AIA Pittsburgh Design People’s Choice Award! Designed by DRAW Collective, the lobby renovations not only refreshed the finishes; they improved staff and visitor flow, added a BeanThru café, and created a warm, welcoming environment. As the hospital's busiest lobby, DRAW’s design team recognized the importance of security and flow. A dedicated, secure staff entrance and separate visitor entry enhances hospital safety while supporting the high-traffic area.

We hope you consider voting for the AHN Forbes Hospital Lobby project by October 31st at 11:59 p.m.! See the link in the comments to cast your vote.

Our K-12 studio leaders, Daniel Engen, Cassandra Renninger, and Tricia Monaco, attended this year’s PASA-PSBA conference in the Poconos earlier this week. Our team had a great time meeting new faces, catching up with clients, sharing DRAW’s design philosophy at our booth, and showcasing our past and present projects. Thank you to everyone who stopped by – we hope to see you next year!

Yesterday, Bethel Park School District held an official ribbon-cutting and community open house to showcase the new, 280,000 SF state-of-the-art Bethel Park Elementary School. The ceremony marked an incredible milestone for the district and Bethel Park community. DRAW Collective worked with teachers and staff to intentionally design every inch of the school, creating a safe and supportive learning environment. Multi-sport athletic facilities have emerged as one of the most forward-thinking investments school districts can make. Spaces that elevate student wellness, strengthen community identity, and maximize long-term value are increasingly sought after. As educational leaders seek to expand opportunities while being responsible stewards of public resources, these flexible, multi-use environments offer a strategic path forward. Visit our website to read more about multi-sport in our new article written by DRAW Principal Mark Scheller.
