We spent the day at Bethel Park School District's Independence Middle School photographing a project that was completed in late 2025. Seeing students actively using and enjoying the spaces we helped create made the visit especially rewarding.

HDG spent this year’s Adopt-A-Landmark Day volunteering at the Waldorf School of Pittsburgh!

Our team devoted the day tackling yard work and landscaping projects, refreshing the school’s front entrance with a new coat of paint, organizing donation items, cleaning out the basement, and connecting with students to talk about architecture and design.

A huge thank you to the Waldorf School of Pittsburgh for welcoming us and allowing our team to be part of such a meaningful day. We’re grateful for the opportunity to support a school that inspires creativity, curiosity, and learning every day!

A special day for an exciting project milestone!

On Friday, HDG joined Massaro Construction Group, M3CM Consulting, Central Catholic High School Administration, Staff, and Students, Bishop Mark A. Eckman, and Mayor Corey O'Connor for the Ground Blessing Ceremony celebrating the official start of this important project.

We’re grateful to be part of a collaborative team working to create spaces that will serve the community for generations to come.

Yesterday, we gathered for a happy hour to celebrate the Shuman Center project reaching an exciting milestone – officially going out to bid!

HDG’s People and Culture Committee kicked off a new lunchtime series to celebrate the diverse backgrounds and cultures within the office.

Today marked the first event - Cinco de Mayo - with a festive taco bar potluck where everyone brought something to share AND an engaging presentation led by Architectural Designer, Leslie Gonzalez, highlighting the rich heritage of Mexican and Mexican-American culture.

Since design is what we do best, we asked our staff to help create our next T-shirt.

With over 30 creative designs submitted, each offered a unique take on our motto, Design with us. After a round of voting, a winning design has been selected, and the shirts are ready to go!

HDG Architects was pleased to sponsor and attend the annual Casino Night hosted by the Community College of Beaver County Foundation. HDG’s Marketing Manager, Andrea Dulick, and her husband enjoyed a fun and memorable evening in support of an important cause.

Events like this helps to raise funds that directly impact students, which provides scholarships to enhance academic programs and helps to remove some of the financial barriers to education. We’re grateful to support an organization making a real difference through education and opportunity.

There’s not much better than an impromptu cookout on a beautiful day. Yesterday, Chef Mark Duane treated our team to a delicious outdoor lunch – perfect timing during a busy stretch of projects. It was a great chance to step away, recharge, and enjoy some well-earned appreciation together.

Congratulations to Brian Mitnick (Men’s Bracket) and Winnie Ting (Women’s Bracket) for coming out on top this year! And a big thank you to everyone who participated and brought some extra competition to the tournament.

HDG is proud to match all proceeds, with this year’s donation going to Moriah Wilson Foundation and Zen Cat Sanctuary - two great causes chosen by our winners.
